Sore, Stiff Muscles

For sore, stiff muscles, Jo recommends a hot bath with a couple of handfuls of Epson Salts and Essential Oils. Her three big favorites, with anti-inflammatory, balancing, relaxing  & healing qualities are:

LAVENDER*

GINGER*

EUCALYPTUS*

Add 10 drop of each to the bath.

Soak & Enjoy!

Using the same amounts as above add to 50ml of a base oil, i.e. sweet almond, grapeseed, sunflower, jojoba, or olive oil. Mix well and massage a tablespoon into effected areas as needed. Soothes and relieves pain & tightness.

Essential oils can provide wonderful relief from chronic pain. They penetrate deeply into the muscle tissues, encouraging contracted muscles to expand; they increase blood flow to the area, and allow torn fibrous tissues to be repaired by the body.
